Cancer Support Group

blue ribbonAt Texas State University a group of employees, friends, and families have gathered together to share with each other support, ideas, and information through a Cancer Support Group. This group extends an invitation to any employee, friend, or family member interested in sharing support, ideas, and information about Cancer. Parents Helping Parents

Through joint efforts of the Work Life Program and the Child Development Center a new parent support group is established for the University Community called “Parents Helping Parents”. The purpose of this group is to bring parents together to network with other parents and discuss challenges and share practical advice about child care. If you are looking for information on parenting skills, proper nutrition for your child, how to incorporate learning into everyday life, or just need support from other parents, join us. Texas State faculty and staff who need personal, alcohol, or drug counseling for themselves or for family members can get confidential referral assistance by calling one of the following numbers.
