Aquatic Science Adventure Camp: Ages 9-15
Aquatic Science Adventure Camp is offered in two formats. Five, six-day resident camps and four,
2-day non-resident camps are offered. All activities are supervised by faculty and staff members of Texas State University-San Marcos and by certified teachers. Enrollment is limited to 24 students per session,
on a first-come first-served basis. Activities include water testing labs, stream invertebrate sampling, fishing, river rafting, and much more!

Athletic Camps
Athletics hosts summer camps in baseball, basketball, football, softball, soccer, and volleyball.

Autism Summer Camp
Texas State University Autism Summer Camp provides children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) access to quality summer camp experiences, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while being sensitive to each child's unique abilities. Trained camp counselors will incorporate therapeutic and educational goals into recreational activities and provide supportive and nurturing interactions and instruction. Each session runs Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with weekly sessions beginning on July 11th and the last weekly session beginning on August 4th. Campus Recreation / Youth Group Swim Lessons
According to the American Red Cross the best thing anyone can do to stay safe in, on and around the water is to learn to swim. This helps emphasize why it is so important that every child learns to swim. Our classes not only teach youth the appropriate aquatic skills but how to stay safe in and around the water. CAP Camp (College Access Project Summer Leadership Camp)
College Access Project (CAP) Camp is a one or two week boot camp for high school juniors and seniors to help them prepare for college. Topics such as college applications, financial aid, admission essay topics, SAT/ACT preparation, life as a college freshmen, and many more will help high school students be ready for their next major chapter in life. With the help of the G-Force mentors, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence they need to complete all the necessary steps to be accepted into a college or university. Although the camp is held on the Texas State campus, our staff will help each student decide which college or university is right for them. Camps will be held June 9-12, 2015 (ONE week) for incoming High School Juniors (Will be Juniors 2015-2016 school year), and June 15-19, 2015 (ONE week) for Incoming High School Seniors (Will be Seniors 2015-2016 school year). CAP camp is NOT an overnight camp. Participants will have to transport themselves or be dropped off at the Texas State University-San Marcos Campus each day, Monday-Friday. There is NO COST to participate in CAP camp; however, space is limited and we ask that those who sign up be committed to attending the length of their specific camp. 2015 Play and Inquiry Summer Workshop: Ages 3-8
Registration is closed for the Early Childhood Play and Inquiry Workshop, June 15th - July 2nd, 2015, an annual enrichment camp for children ages 3-8 years. Offered by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas State University and under the direction of Dr. Dianne Pape, Dr. Tim Kinard and Teresa Zapp. As always, this program promises to be a wonderful time for all, as the university's education students guide children's activities in art, music, woodworking, science, language arts, sand and water, and much more! Kids Kollege of Art: Ages 6-12
Sponsored by the Department of Art and Design, Kids Kollege offers exciting art activities in various media including painting, sculpture, printmaking and photo related projects. Learn to Fence: Ages 8-12, 12 and up
Respect, Honor and an Olympic sport! Fencing is a terrific workout for both body and mind. It develops discipline, agility, concentration, speed and timing. More importantly however, fencing is fun! Math Camps: Grades 4-8 and High School
Mathworks hosts the following three summer math programs: 
•  Half Day Junior Summer Math Camp for 4th-8th grade students, two weeks long
•  Residential Junior Summer Math Camp for 6th-8th grade students, two weeks long
•  Honors Summer Math Camp for high school students, six weeks long

Music Camp Series - Summer 2015
•  Piano FestivalInternational - May 31 – June 7 - Private lessons, master classes, recitals, seminars, lectures and recreational activities. Pianists ages 11–18 and piano teachers of all ages are welcome.  
•  Concert Band Camps - June 7 - 12 - Middle School and High School - Concert, salsa and jazz bands; applied lessons; elective courses; chamber music. 
•  SASI Marching Camp - June 14 - 17 - SASI Drum Major Clinic, SASI Color Guard Camp -
•  Percussion Camp - June 14 - 19 - Marching, concert, drum set Latin, percussion ensemble, steel band
•  Strings Camp - June 21 - 27 - Four string orchestras, private lessons, chamber music electives
•  Choir Camp - July 8 - 11Junior High - Mixed voice choir directed by nationally recognized guest artist, daily camp activities
•  Choir Camp - July 13 - 16 - High School All-State Preparatory - Intense music preparation, outstanding section leaders, superior camp activities, private lessons and instruction available, specialized diction coaching

Athletic Trainer Student Camps
The Department of Health and Human Performance offers this camp. It consists of 3 1/2 days of intense instruction and practical experience in procedures needed by public school student athletic trainers.The camp is open to students entering freshmen year in high school through freshmen year in college.

Theatre Camp
Eighth Annual Children's Summer Theatre Camp will take place August 8th-19th, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. M-F. Early and late care available for an additional fee. $345 early bird price until March 15th for two weeks of camp, after March 15th $375. Sibling discount available. All registration forms must be accompanied with a $150.00 non refundable deposit. The two week summer theater camp is a wonderful experience for all kids involved! Children and teens ages 7 to 15 spend two weeks learning, acting, dancing and singing as they prepare to put on a full show on the final evening of camp. Students get a real life live theater experience that is not only fun and filled with creative arts but life changing as well. Texas State's very own theater students participate as theater directors. Space is always limited for this popular camp so register early. 2015 High School Theatre Camp

Young Writers' Camp
For students ages 6-18, camps meet at Texas State University San Marcos campus or at the Round Rock campus. Camps at the San Marcos campus will be held 9 days: June 22-26, 2015 & June 29-July 2, 2015; ages 6-10, meet in the mornings; while ages 11-13 and ages 14-18, meet in the afternoons. Camps at the Round Rock campus will be held in one or two week sessions between June 15-26, 2015, for grades 1-12. Our camps are being taught by Central Texas Writing Project expert writing teachers who have received additional hours in writing instruction and assessment.
